IMI

IMI has launched a €280 million Call for proposals focusing on Ebola vaccines and diagnostics.

The Call includes five topics:

·         Topic 1: Vaccine development Phase I, II, and III

·         Topic 2: Manufacturing capability

·         Topic 3: Stability of vaccines during transport and storage

The second Call  is scheduled to be launched in December. The topics will be presented briefly during the Open Info Day on 30 September. More information on the topics will be released closer to the Call launch.

The following topics are under consideration for the upcoming Call:

RADAR: Remote assessment of disease and relapse

The Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) will launch its first Call for proposals under IMI 2 on 9 July 2014. The topics proposed for inclusion in the first Call are:

·         Translational approaches to disease modifying therapy of type 1 diabetes mellitus

The IMI Partnering Platform (set up by the German National Contact Point Life Sciences with support from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research) has been re-launched for IMI2 and updated with regard to the 1st IMI2 call topics.
