For the 9th consecutive year, Universal Biotech is launching a call for the Innovation Prize.
The 3 most innovative projects will be awarded with a grant and a year of consulting services offered by Universal Biotech, with a combined value of €30 000.
The Innovation Prize is an international event. Participants must be:
- Academic researchers, public or private sector
- Representatives from young start-ups and companies (< 8 years old)
All projects concerning Drugs, Medical Devices, Applications/Platform, Technology in the field of diagnostics, therapeutics and E-health will be evaluated.
This year, 3 prizes will be awarded in different categories:
Biotech Prize (vaccines, drugs, molecules),
Medtech Prize (medical devices and services, diagnosis),
Digitech Prize (health NICTs including e/m-health, platforms and connected objects).
The project application platform, Open Innovation Access, is open from February 1st to April 30th, 2017.
Projects will be evaluated by a jury of international experts in Healthcare, based on 5 pillars:
- Scientific quality of the innovation
- Level of intellectual property
- Quality of the human resources
- Project feasibility
- Chance of success on the market
