The first calls for Horizon 2020, the new EU- Framework Programme for research and innovation, have been published on 11th December on the Participant Portal. These first calls are part of a 2-years-Work Programme, and funding for about 15 billion € for those 2 years, with about 7.7 billion € for 2014, will be available for you!
These calls cover all priorities of the new framework programme of the European Union. The work programmes (the documents that describe the contents of the calls) will cover a 2 years 2014-2015 period. The part referring to Health, demographic change and wellbeing includes the topics of most relevance for you; however, we highly recommend to checking also other related thematic areas that contain health-related topics.
Fit for Health 2.0 can help you present your expertise and search for partners in the Health thematic. We also support you during all phases of research projects, including first orientation, consortium building, proposal writing, project management and efficient exploitation of project results..
Based on the published Calls we encourage you to start with first preparations and most importantly present your expertise profile and /or search for partners in our database
How to be guided

So far you can find an overview of all steps you need to know for the electronic management of proposals or grants, easy navigation by process steps and a brief description on how to complete your tasks.
In addition to the information about individual topics, you can find further useful documents like the Rules for Participation, model grant agreements, etc. in the Participant Portal which are available here.
